Heritage Greene is a unique, 24.6 ha mixed use development centre, located at the junction of the Red Hill Valley Expressway and the Lincoln Alexander Parkway. The project is significant both in scale and the mix of uses.  Detailed urban design guidelines and new standards have set a higher benchmark than previously existed elsewhere in the City of Hamilton.

The primary uses for this site are commercial large format retail, entertainment, service/retail, residential, mid-rise live/work, office and restaurants.  Scale, building massing, height and built form were carefully illustrated in the urban design guidelines. Design standards for buildings provided for high-quality, interesting architecture, blending scale, mass, colour and texture. Overall, Heritage Greene has established a new benchmark for mixed use development.
